Java dreaming.

Recently I went to Java for ten days with my son Jairah on a little surf trip, and as usual I took my cameras with me. Not too much to say about the trip, it was beautiful, slow (like everything in remote areas of Asia) and the locals were a whole lot of fun to interact with and photograph. I love the fascination that comes about when two wildly different cultures collide; they’re so open to us being there, and it’s always great to try and soak up that positivity as much as possible while you’re there.

I took my Contax T2 and my Pentax 67 on this trip, shooting Ilford XP2 400 in the Contax, and a mix of Portra 400, Ektar 100, TRI-X 400 and some E6 rolls in the 67.

Peace.
